Will Sensis Wake Up…?

Will Sensis make it in the search space?
Alex Parsons and Mark Armstrong didnt seem to think so. Alex quit in under a year (as the Head Of Search for Sensis) and left the beleagured Telstra entity to head to greener pastures at NineMSN and Mark Armstrong, who headed up the troubled “Bid Smart” group at Sensis has been with Google Australia for 6 months or so.
My view is simple.
Sensis could thrive if it let go of this total paranoia about keeping up in the search space. The gold lies within the 400,000 existing SME’s which they have a absolute iron grip on.
Sensis have what Google and Yahoo! would kill for. An army of sales people on the street. And a solid long term relationship.
