Google’s rumoured to be making a play for Double Click. Probably doing so to ensure the other bidder (Microsoft) pays a lot more. Makes sense. The full story is at the WSJ and you’ll need to be a subscriber to read the full story. In my mind, Yahoo! has certainly missed the boat and Time Warner wont end up making a final play…but lets wait and see.

The online ad measurement (actual spend) space is getting interesting in Australia (and globally). Someone will announce something soon.

Social networking is not a passing fad and Facebook is growing.

And Yahoo! might be onto something with a new search interface its trying. It makes perfect sense. Getting traction will be the tougher challenge.
