The Fundamental Difference.

You’ve probably never heard of Adscape Media, Gapminder, JotSpot, dMarc or mobile content businesses such as Android and Reqwireless.

But Google has.

You see, it own’s all these obscure little startups. You could sit and argue for hours whether or not Google bought them for the talent, or the technology (or both) but it wouldn’t really matter.

The fundamental difference is that Yahoo! and Microsoft didn’t.

      um… microsoft and yahoo aren’t sitting idle, they also buy obscure little startups. but you only report google’s purchases why?

      also it is owns, not own’s
