Appreciated! After participating with others on facebook, you are connected and know what each other up through the facebook 'mini-feed', the built-in automatic news update showing what those in your network are up to (IMO the 'killer' feature) and this is not really possible with SMS, email, etc. Gen-Y'ers seem full-on participatory and therefore always know each other movements. Also, great thing is I have managed to catch up with some old friends I haven't seen for a while.
