Google Alerts - No Gimmick…
Posted on March 14th, 2007 by Simon ChenOne of the neatest features of Google is their alert system - aptly called “Google Alerts”.
You simply type in words or subjects you want to track and decide how often you want Google to email you updated, real time content. You might want to track your own business, that of a competitor, a particular subject or news item.
We track our clients this way and Google does a pretty good job of syndicating all the content in one place.
For example, one of our clients is Webjet. I have an alert set up for Webjet and once a week, Google sends me an email with everything it can find within its index thats new for Webjet. For example, this news article.
