Jeff, thanks for the comment. And I'm glad you like some of the video content. We're exactly the same age, but I just can't find the passion for gaming as you have. I bought my 7 year old son a Nintendo Wii for his birthday and I just cant get my head around it! He on the other hand has become an expert. Keep in touch. I'll see you at Blogworld next year.

Thanks for sharing this. Blogworld was great, but I couldn't be in every session obviously. It's really helpful to be able to check out the other sessions like this.

Fair comment James, as you are the Wordpress guru here in Australia and if it confuses you, then what hope have mere mortals like us have? I'm still going to install it though as I want to see just how OTT it is!

General stats is completely OTT :)

It even confuses me so am not sure it'd have much joy with a regulare user... or perhaps that says more about me...

Totally agree about compete though - I can vouch, for example, that the US stats for edublogs.org on compete are pretty much accurate.

I agree - it's a pity that Compete doesn't cover Aus only sites. And well done on your web grade score!

Hi Simon

I've heard / tried all with the exception of Buzz Monitor & will check that out (and w00t I scored a 98 on my "web grade").

I just wonder how reliable Compete would be in Australia (for sites targeting Australia), given they get their information from US ISPs? It would certainly be good to see a similar (free) service here.
