Being Seen On Google Takes Work Not Magic.
Posted on January 10th, 2007 by Simon ChenI am bombarded with online offers every day, pitching the same old tired scams.
Everything from porn to generating a million hits of traffic, to viagra and making a million dollars in 11 days all online with no website and no knowledge of a market (and indeed no need of any).
I keep on these mailing lists for many reasons. One is to keep up to date with industry trends and the other is to keep an eye on our competitors.
Our true competitors.
There are many that play in the search engine optimisation (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) space that are nothing but pure charletans.
Then there are the true professionals.
The agency behind our rebranding exercise has just posted this article to their website.
The copy rings true.
Getting ahead and getting seen on Google is not magic. It just takes analysis and hard work. And then being up to date with the changes that Google make to its search engine technology.
