Will Google Get Into PC’s?

Posted on May 5th, 2006 by Simon Chen

Some people think so.

This rumour started a couple of months ago when the CEO of a company called WYSE said they were in discussion with the search giant.

It makes sense though.

Google do run the worlds biggest PC based network.

And if they built a machine that wasnt bogged down with an antiquated operating system, they could get the price to a point where you’d have a Google Point (I just made that up) in every room.

Michael Kannellos, editor at CNet seems to think this is where Google is heading. Full story here.

I agree.

But maybe not with Wyse.

I’m praying for Apple.

It is true, Google is producing new toys all the time, it won’t be long when it comes out with their own operating system (internet based, most likely)

Found a couple of good read, but kind of old.
