The Hoovers 100
Posted on June 11th, 2006 by Simon ChenJust announced by Hoovers, a Dunn & BradStreet company, is the Hoovers 100 Index.
It’s a list of the top 100 companies searched for on their site.
According to Hoovers:
The Hoover’s 100 provides insight about which companies are being watched most closely by corporate executives, as well as sales, marketing, and business development professionals, who represent a large portion of Hoover’s customers.
Guess where Google is? 9th place (up from 22)
Apple? 2nd place (up from 18th)
Yahoo! 39th place (up from 68)
Amazon and eBay - 50 and 51 respectively.
Which just goes to show that companies like Google and Apple are certainly punching above their weight.
