MySpace Founder Not Happy Jan…

Brad Greenspan

I just dont get these guys.

Brad Greenspan was involved with the creation of MySpace - the social networking site that old Rupert went and paid US$580 million for. Industry pundits thought that alzeimers had set in early for poor old Rupert when the sale went down but after the Google ad deal was announced just months later (effectively paying for the entire transaction in one foul swoop plus change), the same industry pundits claimed him a hero.

Anyway, this guy called Brad Greenspan is really pissed. And sueing buggars all over the place.

He claims that MySpace should have been sold for US$20 billion, not the US$327 million it was valued at during the initial acquisition phase.

Now good old Brad pocketed a handy US$47 million from the final sale - you’d think more than enough to pacify whatever urge you may have to prove a point. Seriously, the dot com world has some crazy fish in it, and Brad appears to be one of them.

At the rate or pace of litigation, it wont take Brad long to burn his new found wealth.
