Google Page Index Check
Posted on December 2nd, 2006 by Simon ChenHere’s a useful quick tool on Google. It’s not really published anywhere on Google’s site and is a quick trick that is used by SEO professionals.
If you want to check when your site was last indexed by Google, simply go to the Google.com search page and enter the following “site:www.blog.eightblack.com”.
Obviously, enter the URL you want to check after “site:www.”
If you don’t enter the “www”, then the tool will return all the data for your main domain name as well as any sub domain’s.
It essentially shows you when Google last indexed your site and will list all the pages that Google can see.
It’s a handy tool to use when talking to your website designer, or web team about the SEO friendliness of your site.
